We start with a simple challenge: how to create more content from limited product assets. Mattel’s internal teams often rely on a single product image, which restricts flexibility, scale, and speed.

Most content pipelines depend on new shoots to scale, increasing time and cost. Instead, this approach expands what already exists.

Using AI, a single image can generate multiple outputs by changing environments, adding depth, introducing motion, and extending visual storytelling. The result is a scalable framework where one asset produces multiple, usable expressions across formats and channels.

We treat every static image as a starting point.

This work reflects a clear point of view on how AI fits into the creative process. The goal is not to produce more content, but to rethink what an asset can do. A single image is no longer a fixed output, it becomes a flexible input that can adapt across formats, channels, and moments. AI is used to extend ideas, not replace them, allowing creative to scale while staying grounded in craft and intent. The opportunity is to move from one-off production to systems that make content more responsive, more efficient, and more connected to how people actually engage.
